Chemical Cleaning

Chemical cleaning is important in ensuring a safe environment especially oil and gas industry. Chemical spill will not only threaten the safety of workers. If spillage was not handle at early stage, chemicals may sipped through soil and pollute the environment. As a result, nearby natural sources such as river and ocean will be contaminated killing its habitants. At the same point, these chemicals may harm workers if inhaled or come in contact with. Therefore, it is important to contain them before it worsen.

According to Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, t it is the duty of every employer and self-employed person to ensure as far as practicable, to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all workers. To comply with this act,  proper chemical disposal equipment should be provided by employers. Variety of tools are use in containing these chemicals according to its uses. Absorbent mat are use to absorb oil leak in an area. Commercial trash bins and recycle trash bins can be use to temporarily store dispose item before being treated properly by responsible bodies.
