ERSB was entrusted to remove, supply and install a new strainer at Durian Tunggal Pump House. The old strainer was in need to be replace due to its badly damage condition. High pressure water and vigorous water current, thorough planning was needed to fix the problem in order to avoid damage on pump and accidents from occur. Our professional divers had successfully take out the broken strainer and cleaned all broken part as to prepare for the new fabricated strainer. On site welding was conducted in order to ensure the new strainer was fit securely on its place. Refurbish of top structure by placing a plat was conducted in order to close the huge gap which may endanger the safety of SAMB workmen. Testing on the newly installed waste strainer were tested by ERSB team until it was confirm to be safe and fully functional by SAMB technical specialists.
